LEVEL: A1-C2
GRADE: any
LENGTH: 10-15 minutes
TOPIC: trying to guess the person while asking the questions
HOW TO:
While using the popular board game GUESS WHO (for example this one) you are trying to find the one person the other team is representing.
VERSION A
For students that are not advanced, it is a great game to practice asking questions and short answers. If you want, you can even tell them that all the people lived in the 16th century (meaning they have to ask the questions in the past simple) or they are from the future (meaning they have to ask the questions in the future simple).
VERSION B
For more advanced students, you can drop the easy questions (DOES YOUR CHARACTER HAVE BLACK HAIR?), you can even ban them and tell them to be creative: DOES YOUR CHARACTER LOOK LIKE THEY SPEND ALL THEIR FREE TIME ON A BEACH?
TIP
It is best while it is a 1 on 1 game or teams of max 3 people are playing against each other.
